Harriette started at Field Equine Vets in 2021 after graduating from the Royal Veterinary College in 2020 and is passionate about all things reproductive medicine. As a student, Hatti spend time at Twemlows Stud Farm in Shropshire and KEROS AI and Embryo Transfer centre in Belgium where she trained to perform artificial insemination, rectal palpation and ultrasound and assisted in many embryo collection and transfers.
In her final year at university Hatti also conducted and published research into early pregnancy loss in the mare, which she presented at the International Symposium for Equine Reproduction in 2018. As well as having an interest in research, Hatti is an Official Veterinarian meaning that she can certify horses for export outside of the UK. Hatti’s other areas of interest are equine dentistry and camelid medicine. She hopes to undertake a certificate in equine medicine in the coming years.
Outside of work Hatti enjoys growing vegetables, scrap booking, reading and spending time with her working spaniel Jax (who often accompanies on visits!)
