Endoscopy involves the use of a flexible camera to allow us to visualise parts of your horse’s anatomy we cannot access from the outside world! The most common sites we will examine include the respiratory tract, the stomach, and very occasional the bladder or even the rectum!
We have a range of different scopes that allow us to access any one of these sites.
Certain conditions we will use the endoscope in include the investigation of nasal discharges, coughing horses and even to diagnose horses with bladder stones. Endoscopic examinations can be performed both within the clinic or if easier at your own yard.
